On March 26th, the Process Engineering Department of Yuchai Co., Ltd. and Jiangsu Aomeng Intelligent Equipment Co., Ltd. held a special technical exchange meeting to discuss engine gas mixture spraying technology, spraying equipment, and new coating processes. This meeting aimed to accelerate the implementation of the gas mixture spraying technology. During the meeting, both parties deeply discussed several core topics: the industry development trend of engine machine spraying technology, the advantages and disadvantages of air spraying and gas mixture spraying processes, the selection of gas mixture spraying gun caliber parameters, and common industry problems in coating processes; they also conducted detailed discussions on the mature case of gas mixture spraying in the engine industry implemented by Jiangsu Aomeng. The technicians from Yuchai Process Engineering Department shared the progress of previous gas mixture spraying tests and the technical obstacles encountered during on-site tests; the technicians from Jiangsu Aomeng, based on their own project practical cases, provided targeted answers and clarifications. The focus of this exchange was to solve several on-site pain points: the problem of high hardness of the air pipe hose in the manual painting position, the selection of model and caliber of the gas mixture spraying robot/ manual workstation spray gun, and the rusting of the joint gaps of engine components in the coating industry. New technical optimization directions were identified, laying a technical foundation for the subsequent whole-machine verification of gas mixture spraying technology. It is understood that to accelerate the mass production and application of gas mixture spraying technology at Yuchai, the Process Engineering Department has established a multi-channel technical learning system: in addition to visiting and exchanging with leading professional equipment manufacturers, it also conducts diversified benchmarking learning such as on-site comparisons with peer companies and technical consultations from research institutions, fully promoting the mass production and application of gas mixture spraying technology at Yuchai as soon as possible.
